Master-Peace 2000: Working with ten high schools during the 1999-2000 academic year to create ten murals commemorating the millennium's past ten centuries. The Internet-based project is a collaborative effort of Miami-Dade Art in Public Places, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Division of Life Skills, and Regis House, Inc., a non-profit community-based center helping children and families. Compartiendo con Panamá: a collaborate effort that includes an art exhibit at the University of Panamá, a substance abuse conference in Panama City, and a mural creation and art project in three Panamanian cities: Colon, Chiriqui, and Panama City. The project is sponsored by La Cruz Blanca Panamena, Florida Volunteer Corps (FAVA/CA) and Regis House, September 3 -11, 1999, Panama City, Panama.

Art in Public Places' PATH (Public Art Transforming Housing), a collaborative project with Miami-Dade Housing Department and the Miami-Dade Police Department aimed at eliminating drugs in nine public housing sites. Dedication Ceremony and Kick-off Celebration: Youth from Wynwood working with artist Xavier Cortada unveil their PATH projects as they unveil the grand opening of their new space, the Castle and kick off a year of PATH. Creation of "Voices 99: Renewing the Commitment," a collaborative mural of the 5th Annual Conference of the AIDS Policy Center for Children, Youth and Families. The mural was unveiled by the artist, several Congress people and the nation's "AIDS Czar" Sandy Thurman, on Capitol Hill on the 25th of May, 1999, Washington, D.C.
The Webstudio-- an Internet-based collaborative art project, which allows participants to interact with the artist through two webcams and a live chatroom. The WebStudio is sponsored by a New Forms grant from the Miami Dade Cultural Affairs Council and the Art Center South Florida. April's WebStudio Sessions focus on the topic of Love. Sessions are scheduled for different times during the month, see schedule for more detailed information.

Master Peace: eight student-driven collaborative art projects sponsored by Regis House, Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and Miami-Dade Art in Public Places. Schools for the Spring 1999 include: Miami Senior High School, Coral Park Senior High School, Citrus Grove Middle School, and West Miami Middle School.
