Murals on Multiculturalism and Diversity
Xavier Cortada, has been commissioned to
create murals, art projects and exhibits addressing issues of diversity and
multiculturalism, see samples below. These efforts aim to educate participants and
the public at large on issues such as inclusion, tolerance, and equality. The artist
has also created conflict resolution murals dealing with
diversity at the international level.

"We're in the Same boat" Mural
Project, a community-based art project designed to bring diverse communities
together by creating a mural. Xavier Cortada
facilated the creation of a collaborative mural with the elderly served by the Haitian
American Foundation and the Little Havana Activities and Nutrition Center during April and
May, 2001.
