WebStudio

The WebStudio is an Internet-based collaborative art project, which allows participants to interact with Miami artist Xavier Cortada through two webcams and a live chatroom.  Input is also received through discussion forums and images are posted in a participants' gallery.

At scheduled times over the next four months the WebStudio will be exploring four topics:  Love: How we relate to our partners/lovers (April), to one another in our Society (May), to our God (June) and to our World and its environment (July).

Using scanned images and text  e-mailed (webstudio@cortada.com) to the WebStudio, the artist will create collaged paintings.  Likewise, the composition, theme, and colors of the paintings will be determined by input provided through the live chatroom, and the discussion forums opened for each topic.
