Murals on Disabilities
Xavier Cortada, an Adjunct Assistant
Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Miami School of Medicine, has worked with the

disabilities and their families to create murals, art projects and exhibits on
disabilities, see samples below. These efforts aim to educate participants and the
public at large on issues such as inclusion, self-determination, and equality.
