REACH FOR THE FUTURE

A glass mosaic mural dedicated to future generations of students and created by Palm Springs Middle School art students with Art in Public Places Artist in Residence Xavier Cortada. The mural was designed by students from Ms. Maggie Morales' art class during the Spring 1998. The "Reach for the future" mural was dedicated on June 11, 1998 at the school in Hialeah, Florida.

Bisazza North America donated the glass tile for the 5' x 10' mural and, under Cortada's guidance, facilitated its fabrication.

This project was funded by Miami-Dade Art in Public Places Trust, Miami-Dade Cultural Affairs Council, Florida Department of State, Division of Cultural Affairs, and Miami-Dade Public Schools. students from Ms. Maggie Morales' art class during the Spring 1998.
