CITRUS GROVE MIDDLE SCHOOL

Spring 1998

The program worked with Citrus Grove Middle School students enrolled in Ms. Lindheimer's art class. The youth from the Art 2 class during the Spring 1998 semester to create pro-social messages for the student body. The youth focused on school bonding, athletics, academics, and making the right choices. Breaking down into team-building groups, youth created for art pieces that were unveiled at the school's award ceremony at the end of the semester. Miami-Dade Commissioner Jimmy Morales addressed the audience and helped unveil the mural.
