Miami plays host to one of the world's biggest Electronic Music Festivals. Global Gathering is a massive festival that originated in the UK featuring the biggest talent in the Electronic/Alternative music scene from across the Globe. This year's Global Gathering 2006 Miami features Performances by Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Tommy Lee, International superstars Sasha & John Digweed, Deep Dish, Steve Lawler, Roger Sanchez, Ferry Corsten & Armin Van Buuren along side South Florida favorites Murk, Roland, Edgar V, George Acosta, Stryke, Ivano Bellini, Cedric Gervais & more.

Xavier Cortada has exhibited his works in museums, galleries, and cultural venues around the world and has pioneered the use of the Internet in collaborative art-making. The Miami-based Cuban-American artist, attorney, and activist has worked collaboratively with diverse groups across the United States, Latin America, Europe and Africa to create pro-social community murals and participant-driven art projects.
