Commemorating 100 Years of Juvenile Justice

Xavier Cortada, "Commemorating 100 Years of Juvenile Justice",   glass mosaic (20 mm tesserae) on metal plates, 16' x 24',   1999. 

The mural was installed on the facade of the 11th Judicial Circuit Juvenile Courthouse in Miami-Dade County, FL to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Juvenile Courts in the United States. 

Members of Florida's courts, including the State Supreme court attended the unveiling and dedication ceremonies on  December 10, 1999.
